Voces Unidas -
We are committed towards helping underprivileged students gain access to higher education. Funds will be raised throughout the year in order to provide scholarship opportunities for local students. Voces Unidas has identified two colleges whom they will be working closely with: Lamar Community College and Otero Junior College. All funds are to be used at either institution. - Brown Bag luncheons - Every 4th Friday of the month

- Fiesta de Colores - Vendor Booth (Granada)

- Onion Festival - July 26th (Will be celebrated in Granada)

- School Registration - Translation Booth - August

- September Fiesta – Sept 15th

- Octoberfest -- Vendor Booth (Lamar)

- Nightmare on Elm Street - Haunted House Room (Lamar)

- Hispanic Heritage Month – Sept 15th - Oct 15th

- Annual Banquet – October 19th

The Voces Unidas Committee of the Lamar Chamber of Commerce is dedicated in creating a diverse
leadership, economy and community in a positive environment. Based on understanding, appreciating,
